Upon arrival at La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City, you’ll be transferred to Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Settle into your hotel and embark on a guided walking tour of Antigua’s cobblestone streets, admiring its colonial architecture, historical landmarks, and vibrant markets. Enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation, preparing for the adventures ahead.
Travel to Lake Atitlán, one of the world’s most beautiful lakes, surrounded by volcanoes and traditional Mayan villages. Enjoy a scenic boat tour, visiting villages like Santiago Atitlán or San Juan La Laguna, learning about Mayan culture and traditions. Interact with local artisans, explore the markets, and savor a lakeside lunch.
An early start takes you to Flores, followed by a visit to Tikal National Park, one of the most significant Mayan archaeological sites. Explore the magnificent temples, pyramids, and plazas, learning about the ancient Mayan civilization from expert guides. Enjoy lunch within the park and return to Flores for an evening of relaxation.
Fly back to Guatemala City and transfer to Antigua. This day is dedicated to connecting with the local Jewish community.
