Day 1: Exploring the Old Town and Jewish Legacy

Explore the Estonia Jewish Community of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, including:
Start the tour with a visit to the Tallinn Synagogue (Beit Bella Synagogue), which serves as the focal point of Jewish religious and cultural life in the city. Learn about the Estonia Jewish history of the synagogue and its significance to the local Jewish community.
After lunch, visit the Jewish Museum and delve deeper into the history and raditions of the Jewish community in Estonia. The museum may feature exhibits on Jewish life, culture, and contributions to Estonian society.
Former Jewish Quarter to see where the Jews of Estonia once lived, worked, and socialized.
Explore the streets and alleys while learning about the daily life and experiences of Tallinn’s
Jewish residents.
Pay homage to the victims of the Holocaust at a Holocaust memorial dedicated to those
who perished during this dark period in history.

Day 2: Old Town

Enjoy a walking tour of Tallinn’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and charming cobblestone streets. Discover
landmarks such as the medieval city walls, Town Hall Square, and Toompea Castle.
Next take part in an Estonian food Tour – this culinary experience will introduce you to the unique flavors and dishes of Estonian cuisine. Sample traditional Estonian specialties such as rye bread, smoked fish, marinated herring, black pudding, and birch sap.
After lunch, journey to the Holocaust Memorial in Kalevi-Liiva, a solemn site honoring the memory of thousands of Jews and other victims murdered during the Holocaust. Reflect on this tragic chapter of Estonia Jewish history with a guided discussion at the site.
Return to Tallinn for a leisurely evening, strolling along the waterfront and enjoying a traditional Estonian dinner.
