OVERVIEW
Explore the country of Gauchos, wine tastings, and tango on a 6 day Jewish tour in Argentina. Visit this cultural capital of the world, birthplace of the tango and the world’s fifth-largest wine producer, known for its incredible art, theater, music, and dance, on a Jewish heritage tour to Argentina.
Home to approximately 250,000 Jews, Argentina is the sixth largest Jewish community in the world. Many came over en masse at the end of the 1880s from Eastern Europe. As the center of Argentinian Jewish life, Buenos Aires is one of the best places for a Jewish tour. But once you leave the city for Pampa you enter the romantic world of the Jewish gaucho: cowboys who earned their living as farmers.
Visit the Shoah Museum and make empanadas and alfajores with an Argentinian chef. Go for a wine tasting in the vineyards of the Buenos Aires Province and sail along the La Plata River and explore the riverside market in Tigre. This country full of passion is waiting for you to explore in any of our Jewish tours in Argentina.
