The subsequent four days are dedicated to Bucharest, delving into the capital’s rich Jewish tour in Romania. Highlights include tours of the Jewish Quarter and the Choral Temple, visits to the Jewish Museum and the Holocaust Memorial, and a briefing with the Israeli Ambassador. The itinerary also incorporates broader Romanian culture with a visit to the Palace of Parliament and traditional dining experiences. This portion of the trip aims to provide a deeper understanding of contemporary Jewish life in Romania and its historical context, culminating in a farewell before departure.

Cluj to Sighet: Our adventure begins in Cluj, where we embark on a scenic
journey to Sighet. Along the way, we stop at Baia Sprie, a charming village
renowned for its pottery. Here, a world-class potter unveils the secrets of their

cherish long after the trip. We savor a delicious lunch amidst the tranquil rural
setting before continuing our voyage to Sighet.
Sighet Arrival: Upon arrival in Sighet, a poignant visit awaits us at the train
station. We pay our respects to the thousands of Jews deported from this very
spot to concentration camps during the Holocaust. A somber yet significant

Welcome Dinner: After settling into our hotel, we join a special opening dinner
