Your women empowerment Tanzanian adventure begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the wonders ahead. You’ll immediately connect with the local community at Shanga, participating in a jewelry-making workshop that supports individuals with disabilities. This immersive experience offers a unique cultural exchange before settling into your lodge for the night. You’ll begin with classic Tanzanian experience in a safari adventure, then transition to a deeply personal connection by meeting the Rabbi and his wife, hearing their fascinating story of building their community in East Africa.
The following day blends cultural exploration with wildlife encounters for this Women’s safari trip. You’ll journey to Mto wa Mbu to meet Chagga women, learn the art of traditional cooking, and partake in a coffee ceremony. The afternoon unfolds with a thrilling safari in Lake Manyara National Park, where diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife, including elephants and flamingos, create a memorable experience.
The heart of your safari continues with an exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a haven for diverse species. Descend into this “Garden of Eden” for unparalleled wildlife viewing, enjoying a picnic lunch amidst this natural wonder. Later, you’ll gain insight into the Maasai culture with a visit to a local village, observing their daily life, traditions, and welcoming ceremonies. This cultural immersion provides a deeper understanding of the region’s rich heritage. Your Tanzanian journey then transitions to Zanzibar, but not before two more unique cultural encounters. You’ll visit the Datoga tribe, renowned for their metalworking, and the Hadza, one of the world’s last hunter-gatherer tribes, learning about their traditional skills and ways of life. A visit to the Tanzanite Experience adds a touch of geological wonder before your flight to the tropical paradise of Zanzibar.
Zanzibar offers a blend of cultural exploration and relaxation. You’ll explore Kuza Cave, a site of ancient rituals, and refresh in its natural pool. A visit to a women-run seaweed factory in Paje highlights sustainable practices. Photo opportunities abound at the iconic “The Rock” restaurant, followed by a relaxing evening at Kae Beach, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset. The highlight of your Zanzibar experience is the Safari Blue adventure, a full-day excursion to the Menai Bay Conservation Area. Snorkel in vibrant coral reefs, relax on pristine sandbanks, and savor a delicious seafood lunch on a deserted island. Your journey concludes with a relaxed morning in Zanzibar followed by a visit to a spice farm, where you’ll discover the island’s aromatic history and learn about its diverse spices. From there, you’ll be transferred to the airport, carrying with you memories of an extraordinary Tanzanian Safari for Jewish female groups and Zanzibar adventure.

Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! we’ll get you started with an introductory briefing before we head out to begin the trip. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Shanga, a community project dedicated to providing meaningful work opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Here, you’ll participate in a traditional jewelry-making workshop, where you’ll learn how to craft beautiful, authentic pieces while supporting the local community’s efforts to create an inclusive environment.
Ladies, prepare for an extraordinary Tanzanian women’s mission to Arusha, where the breathtaking landscapes meet a surprising and heartwarming Jewish community. You’ll begin with classic Tanzanian experience in a safari adventure, then transition to a deeply personal connection by meeting the Rabbi and his wife, hearing their fascinating story of building their community in East Africa. Your conversation will be followed by a hands-on bread-making workshop with the Rabbi’s wife, where you’ll learn to prepare Sabiach, a delicious Yemenite layered bread that serves as their Shabbat alternative to challah.
Overnight: LAKE DULUTI LODGE – ARUSHA
In the morning, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village where we’ll
meet the Chagga women. Here, we’ll take part in a hands-on cooking workshop, learning how to prepare traditional dishes and the famous banana beer that’s a staple of the
Chagga tribe. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch, followed by a special coffee
ceremony, where we’ll learn about the cultural significance of coffee in Tanzanian society
In the afternoon, we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park for a thrilling safari. Known for its diverse landscapes, we’ll explore the park’s stunning scenery, spotting an array of
wildlife including elephants, giraffes, and flamingos. The park’s unique combination of lake, forest, and open plains provides an unforgettable safari experience.
Overnight: Suricata Boma lodge
Today, we’ll embark on a safari into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most remarkable
natural wonders of the world. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” this UNESCO World Heritage site is teeming with wildlife, from lions and elephants to zebras and rhinos. The lush landscapes and volcanic surroundings create a truly unforgettable experience as we descend into the crater for an upclose look at the diverse ecosystem.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit a Maasai village, where you’ll have the chance to learn about their traditional way of life. The Maasai are renowned for their rich culture, and here you’ll witness their daily routines, mostly done by the women, learn how the women built their own houses, make the famous beads decorations, and observe a welcoming ceremony, discover the significance of their customs and rituals.
Overnight: MARERA MOUNTAIN VIEW– Karatu
Today is a cultural exploration like no other! We begin by visiting the Datoga tribe, known for their skills in metalworking and herding. Here, we’ll witness the creation of arrows from recycled metals and learn about the traditional roles of women in their society.
Next, we travel to meet the Hadza tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. In this fascinating visit, we’ll join the women of the tribe as they forage for roots and prepare traditional jewelry, passing down these skills through generations. The men will also teach us the ancient art of archery, giving us a chance to learn how to shoot arrows like the Hadza do.
On the way back to Arusha, we’ll stop at the Tanzanite Experience, where you’ll learn about
the rare and valuable gemstone, Tanzanite, which is only found in this part of the world. It’s
often referred to as the “diamond of Africa” for its stunning color and rarity.
Finally, we’ll catch a flight to Zanzibar, where you’ll unwind and prepare for the tropical adventures awaiting you on this beautiful island.

Today, we begin with a visit to Kuza Cave, a historical and spiritual site known for its
ancient fertility rituals. Here, you’ll see remnants of past rituals and gain insight into
the sacred significance this cave holds in Zanzibar’s cultural history. After exploring the
cave, we’ll take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the natural cleansing pool, known
for its purifying properties—a perfect way to rejuvenate and connect with the natural
environment.
Next, we’ll head to Paje, where we’ll visit a seaweed factory run by local Zanzibar women.
This sustainable project provides employment and income to the community, and you’ll have the chance to see how the women cultivate and process seaweed, which is used in cosmetics and local products.
After lunch, we’ll visit the iconic “The Rock” restaurant, located on a rock in the middle of
the ocean. Here, you’ll have the chance to capture unforgettable photos while enjoying
incredible views.
As the day comes to a close, we’ll head to Kae Beach, one of Zanzibar’s hidden gems. This
serene bay offers soft, white sand, and a laidback atmosphere perfect for a stunning sunset. Sip on a refreshing cocktail as you enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunsets in Zanzibar.

Today, we embark on one of Zanzibar’s most iconic and unforgettable adventures – Safari Blue. This allday excursion takes us to the Menai Bay Conservation Area, renowned for its pristine beauty, rich marine life, and breathtaking waters.
We’ll set sail on a traditional dhow boat, exploring the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Our first stop will be for some snorkeling in the vibrant coral reefs, where you’ll swim with an array of colorful fish. After exploring the underwater world, we’ll visit some of
Zanzibar’s secluded sandbanks, where you can relax on the soft, white sand, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
For lunch, we’ll enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ on a deserted island, with locally caught fish and tropical fruits served alongside refreshing drinks, offering the ultimate island picnic experience.
As the day continues, we’ll have more time to explore the area and soak in the beauty of this
tropical paradise before returning to Zanzibar.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at your leisure, taking in the beauty of Zanzibar’s tranquil surroundings. Whether you want to unwind at the beach, visit local shops, or simply relax at your accommodation, the morning is yours to enjoy.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit one of Zanzibar’s famous spice farms, where you’ll immerse yourself in the island’s rich history of spice cultivation. On a guided tour, you’ll discover the various spices grown on the island, such as cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, and learn about their significance to both the local culture and the global market. You’ll even have the opportunity to taste fresh spices and learn about their medicinal properties.
After the fascinating spice experience, we’ll transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your departure, bringing your unforgettable journey through Tanzania and
Zanzibar to a close.
